For three days on August 9, 10, and 11, I also had the opportunity to teach “Savoring Three-Dimensional Letters” at De Wereld van PIXel in Bazel, Belgium. It is a wonderful workshop venue, with everything you could possibly need. I of course enjoyed teaching and interacting with students so much. They were very creative and persistently worked on each assignment. In Belgium,Ezumi set (Japanese colors in two tones, bright and dark) by Boku-undo is very popular among calligraphers, and I learned that their tones are very deep and beautiful for the first time when I came to Belgium. If you like letter drawing, this is a good choice.
August 9, 10, 11にも、ベルギーのアントワープ近郊にあるDe Wereld van PIXelで、同じく”Savoring Three-Dimensional Letters”を３日間コースで教える機会がありました。とても素敵なワークショップ会場で、至れり尽くせりの環境です。もちろん、楽しく教えながら生徒さん方と交流しました。皆さんとてもクリエィティブで、１つ１つの課題に工夫しながら根気よく取り組んでおられました。ベルギーでは、墨運堂の絵墨（明暗の２種類あり）が人気で、深みのある色味が美しいことを、海外に来て初めて知りました。これを上手く使われている方が多かったです。ドローイングがお好きな方にはお薦めです。
