国内では初となる個展を東京と神戸で開催しました。
2021 年にベルギーで開催した個展で展示したカリグラフィー作品をベースに、新たな描画作品と石彫作品を加えて展示しました。１文字だけ彫った沢山の小石から、「書く」の醍醐味を見ていただける作品まで約60点。『カク カク ホル』に焦点を絞った動画も上映しました。
I held my first solo exhibition in Japan titled “Kaku Kaku Horu” meaning writing, drawing and carving, in Tokyo and Kobe.
Based on the calligraphy work exhibited at my solo show in Belgium in 2021, I added new drawing piece and stone works. There were almost 60 pieces, from the many pebbles carved just one letter, to the works that show you the real thrill of writing were exhibited. There also played a video focusing on the title “Kaku Kaku Horu”.

ギャラリーの特徴と雰囲気を最大限に利用した展示レイアウトはとてもうまく行きました。この会場との出会いが展示成功の鍵だったと言えるでしょう。
The layout of the exhibition that made use of the characteristics and atmosphere of the gallery worked very well. It can be said that having come across this venue was the key to the success of the exhibition.

神戸の会場は、いろいろな意味で私のホームグラウンドと言えるギャラリーでした。こちらでは、東京での展示内容に加え、制作過程の資料をお見せしながらのトークを連日（最終日を除く）行い、完成作品とその過程を一緒に楽しんでいただく機会としました。
ギャラリーに直接入る陽ざしを受けた石作品たちと、打ちっぱなしのコンクリート壁を背にドラマティックなライトに照らされるカリグラフィー作品たち。東京のギャラリーで見せていた顔とはまた異なる表情を見せていました。
The venue in Kobe was a gallery that could be called my home turf in many ways.
Here, in addition to the exhibition content in Tokyo, I held daily gallery talks (except the final day) showing materials from the making process, providing an opportunity to enjoy both the finished works and their creation journey together.
Stone works bathed in sunlight streaming into the gallery, and calligraphy works illuminated by dramatic lighting against a backdrop of exposed concrete walls. They showed different faces than the ones they had displayed at the gallery in Tokyo.
